On 13 March, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Piotr Łukasiewicz.
During the meeting, the parties coordinated preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026), which will take place in June in Gdańsk, Republic of Poland.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the political part of the preparations for the Conference and the consolidation of international support for its successful organization. They also noted that the Ukraine Recovery Conference serves as a key international platform for mobilizing political, financial, and investment support for Ukraine’s recovery, as well as for demonstrating the country’s progress in implementing reforms, strengthening economic resilience, and advancing preparations for EU membership.
Piotr Łukasiewicz reaffirmed Poland’s unwavering support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression and stressed the importance of the Conference for Ukraine’s recovery from the consequences of Russia’s war.
