On 24 October, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis met with Member of the United Kingdom Parliament from the Conservative Party and Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Andrew Mitchell.
Yevhen Perebyinis highlighted the strategic nature of the Ukrainian-British relations and expressed gratitude to the United Kingdom for comprehensive and consistent support for Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggressor.
During the meeting, the sides focused on discussing ways of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, in particular in military sphere, implementation of the Ukrainian Victory Plan, preparation of the Second Global Peace Summit, expansion of restrictive measures against Russia and the situation in the energy sector of our country.
For his part, Andrew Mitchell emphasized the unity of political forces in the UK Parliament in supporting Ukraine and the Conservative Party’s commitment to further assistance to our country.
