On June 3, 2024 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Tatiana Molcean.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the context of the recovery of Ukraine as a result of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
The parties paid special attention to the further implementation of joint urban development projects #UN4Kharkiv and #UN4Mykolaiv, as well as the importance of attracting private capital for recovery of Ukraine according to the principles of the “green economy”.
Yevhen Perebyinis informed the Executive Secretary of the UNECE about the current security and energy situation in our country in view of the daily missile attacks. In this regard, the Ukrainian diplomat stressed on the importance of providing Ukraine with energy equipment from partners.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the preparation for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, as well as the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) in Berlin.
