On December 20, Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Olenik and the member of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Nenad Čanak.

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed gratitude to Serbian politicians for their personal active position in supporting Ukraine`s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of Ukrainian-Serbian cooperation and positively noted the activisation of bilateral parliamentary dialogue.

Deputy Minister expressed hope that Serbia as a candidate country will synchronize its foreign policy with the European Union´s Common Foreign and Security Policy and join sanctions against Russia.
