On 25 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yehven Perebyinis held a meeting with Aleš Vytečka, Director of the Intergovernmental Defence Cooperation Agency (AMOS) of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic.

During the talks, the parties discussed current issues related to the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation and further political engagement in the security sphere between Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Particular attention was paid to ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of the Czech initiative to supply artillery ammunition to Ukraine.

Yehven Perebyinis thanked Mr. Vytečka for his personal contribution and leadership in promoting initiatives aimed at strengthening defence support for Ukraine. He also expressed hope that the newly appointed Czech government, which is expected to be formed soon following the parliamentary elections held in October this year, will continue implementing the “artillery initiative” and will further provide comprehensive defence assistance to Ukraine.
