On October 5, 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Yağmur Ahmet Güldere, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

During the meeting, topical issues of bilateral relations and international agenda, in particular within the the context of ensuring food security and implementing the provisions of the Peace Formula initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy were discussed.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that Ukraine highly appreciates the fact that Mr. Yağmur Ahmet Güldere was one of the first foreign ambassadors who returned to Kyiv after the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion. Besides, he thanked for the support and assistance to the citizens of Ukraine, who were forced to seek temporary shelter in Türkiye due to Russian aggression.
