On February 8, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with the co-leader of the German party "Alliance 90 / The Greens" Omid Nouripour.

Yevhen Perebyinis expressed his gratitude for the principled position on the key issue of providing weapons, and praised the personal role of Omid Nouripour in recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people by the Bundestag.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Peace Formula initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the importance of establishing a Special International Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine in order to bring the Russian leadership and all those responsible to justice, as well as the engagement of the world community, in particular the EU countries, to this process.

Deputy Minister informed about Ukraine's expectations from European partners regarding military aid and the EU policy of sanctions.

The interlocutors also discussed the state and prospects of the Ukrainian-German cooperation and positively noted the intensification of the inter-parliamentary dialogue.
