On May 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received the copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Ukraine Helene Sand Andresen.

The Deputy Foreign Minister noted a high level of bilateral political dialogue and thanked Norway for providing Ukraine with comprehensive military, financial and humanitarian assistance in the context of countering russian military aggression.

"We highly appreciate Norway's support in the fight for our common European values, freedom, democracy and human rights. Norway's contribution to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities is crucial to restoring peace and stability in Europe," - underlined Yevhen Perebyinis.

Helene Sand Andresen assured of Norway's unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, and emphasized the readiness of her country to further reinforce practical assistance to Ukraine and strengthen cooperation between Kyiv and Oslo.
