The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is closely following the events in the Republic of Ecuador.

We strongly condemn the terrorist acts committed in the country by armed extremists and criminal groups.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist acts. We stand in solidarity with the Ecuadorian people and reaffirm our support for the lawful actions of President Daniel Noboa to restore public order in the country.

Ukraine is determined to further develop bilateral relations in accordance with the letter and the spirit of the 2001 Treaty on Friendly Relations and Cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Ecuador.
