The Ministers discussed the key issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Bulgaria. The sides agreed upon the schedule of political contacts at the highest and high levels and expressed intention to enhance their interaction in all spheres of mutual interest.
Minister Leonid Kozhara expressed his hope that the new Government of the Republic of Bulgaria will actively support European integration course of Ukraine, especially signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement during EU Vilnius Summit.
The parties also exchanged views on ways of enhancement of cooperation of two countries under the Ukrainian Chairmanship in OSCE and BSEC, including preparation of the BSEC Council of Ministers meeting which will be chaired by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and will take place on June 21, 2013, in Odessa.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister wished his Bulgarian counterpart success as a Minister of Foreign Affairs and expressed his belief that a solid professional experience of Mr. Vigenin, especially during his duties in European Parliament, will facilitate deepening of Ukrainian-Bulgarian partnership, as well as approaching of Ukraine to the EU.
