The sides discussed issues on cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE, including the Inter-Parliamentary plane in the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE, the state and prospects of a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. During the meeting, the sides stressed the role of the parliamentary component in finding and implementing effective solutions to this conflict.

Discussing the bilateral component, attention has been given to the possibilities and prospects of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary cooperation in multilateral and bilateral format, in particular within the framework of parliamentary assemblies.

Both sides stressed the importance of further development and deepening of bilateral cooperation through the "friendship groups" of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which provides an additional impact to the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary relations.

On the same day, the Acting Head of the OSCE, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara visited the headquarters of the Public Union "Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Azerbaijan Republic", where he had a meeting with the Head of its Board Bayram Safarov and members of the community.
