The current agenda of Ukrainian-Slovak cooperation was discussed at the meeting, including the schedule of bilateral contacts at the highest political level. In this context the upcoming official visit of the Slovak President to Ukraine on December 11-12 was mentioned as being of special significance for further development of relations between Ukraine and Slovakia.

President of the Slovak Republic Mr. Gašparovič welcomed Ukraine's continued progress with a view to signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU during the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius and assured of Slovakia’s support in this regard.

Leonid Kozhara informed the President about the comprehensive domestic reforms in Ukraine, which correspond to the European standards.
