Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky held telephone talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Angel Velitchkov and First Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Mr. Josko Klisovic.
The Sides discussed the issues of practical support of Ukraine by European partners in the context of regulation by diplomatic means of the situation around the Russian invasion in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Special attention was paid to the so-called “referendum” in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on March 16th, 2014.
The sides also confirmed strong support of our country’s European integration inspirations, particularly signing of the political part of Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on March 21, in Brussels.
Deputy Minister D.Lubkivsky expressed gratitude for the clear position of the leadership of Croatia and Bulgaria, supporting territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukrainian borders.
It was agreed to enhance multilateral cooperation within the framework of regional energy projects. During the talks key steps aimed at intensification of bilateral contacts with Croatia and Bulgaria were defined.
