On March 21, 2014 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Olefirov held a meeting with Deputy Chief of the Mission of the Kingdom of Spain in Ukraine Jorge Urbiola Lopez de Montenegro.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation around the aggression of Russia in the Crimea and the necessity to consolidate support of Ukraine by the international community.

The Spanish part confirmed its commitment to the territorial integrity and inviolability of borders of sovereign states. The position of Spain in support of Ukraine in this issue remains unchanged.
