On December 8, 2011 during this working visit to the United States Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Senator Mike Lee (R.Utah) – Ranking member of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Judiciary Committee of the Senate the United States. In the meeting also took part Ambassador of Ukraine Olexander Motsyk.

During the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership of Ukraine and the USA. Mike Lee was acquainted with the current state of social, economic and political reforms in Ukraine.

Pavlo Klimkin invited Senator Lee to visit Ukraine at the suitable for him time.
