On September 9, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin received the delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). The sides exchanged views on the development of the current situation in the East of Ukraine in connection with the on-going military aggression of the Russian Federation against our country.
Minister informed the members of the Delegation on the key priorities of the Government of Ukraine, including a comprehensive settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine, a profound reform of the national economy, the reform of local government through empowerment at the local level and the fight against all forms of extremism and xenophobia.
The focal attention was paid to the efforts aimed at the implementation of the agreements reached during the consultations within the framework of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on 5 September.
Minister expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the AJC for their consistent support of Ukraine on the international scene.
