On September 29 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria have held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 70^th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The parties underscored the necessity of intensification of economic and political contacts, as well as further strengthening the bilateral cooperation in the framework of international organizations.

The Ministers also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and the Sahel and Sahara regions and ways to combat international terrorism.
