On January 18, 2010 the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Petro Poroshenko held the meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine D.N.Rohdiat.

In the course of meeting the issues of preparation to the forthcoming Minister’s visit to the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the perspective directions of Ukrainian-Indonesian bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Namely, prospects of the strengthening bilateral legal base, further enhancement of trade and economic ties, as well as simplification of visa formalities for Ukrainian tourists, visiting Indonesia, were considered by the counterparts.

The Minister emphasized that development of all-sides relations with Republic of Indonesia, as the biggest Muslim country of the world，is one of the main priorities in realization of Foreign Policy of Ukraine in Asia-Pacific Region.
