In the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Croatia, Minister for Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryshchenko was received by President of Croatia Ivo Josipović.
The sides emphasized the importance of the two states maintaining an active political dialogue at the highest level that would be promoted by the upcoming visit of the President of Croatia to Ukraine.
The parties also discussed the need to take joint steps to promote bilateral trade and investment growth.
Special attention was paid to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the context of European integration, especially after Croatia joins the EU in 2013.
Minister Gryshchenko praised the progress that the official Zagreb had made in its accession talks with the EU.
For his part, President Ivo Josipović stressed his support of the idea of preserving the most favorable visa regulations for Ukrainian travelers in Croatia.
