Minister for Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryshchenko goes on a working visit to Croatia

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko went on a working visit to the Republic of Croatia to take part in the Croatia Summit 2012 “State Building and the EU Experience” held in Dubrovnik.

Minister Gryshchenko took part in the Summit’s plenary session “EU Perspective as a Driving Force for Social and Political Change.”
In his address at the session the Minister emphasized that Ukraine’s European integration course remains unchanged and that the government of Ukraine makes continuous efforts aimed at the approximation of our country and the EU.

Kostyantyn Gryshchenko said that Ukraine’s future membership in the UE would be an important factor for strengthening the position of the European Union in the world, as our country has been demonstrating high GDP growth rates. According to the Minister, the success of EURO 2012 was the best proof that Ukraine can keep up to its international obligations at the highest level.

In the framework of the visit, the Minister also had a number of bilater meetings with his colleagues from Central and Southeastern Europe.
