On August 26, 2011 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin received copies of Credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Ivan Pochuh.
The Sides focused on the issues of the European integration of Ukraine. The Czech side expressed readiness to continue to fully support the European aspirations of Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to expanding cooperation in trade and economic cooperation, particularly holding the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Czech Joint Committee on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical cooperation in Kyiv.
The Sides also discussed the development of the legal framework of the Ukrainian-Czech relations.
The importance of cooperation in international and regional organizations, particularly in the framework of the Visegrad Group was underlined during the meeting.
