The Ukrainian diplomat was received by the PNA Prime Minister Mr.Salam Fayyad.

There were also meetings held with the PNA Minister of Economy Mr. Jihad Harazalla and the board members of the Palestinian Association of the Ukrainian universities' Alumni.

In the PNA Foreign Ministry the first round of Ukrainian-Palestinian political consultations was conducted. The delegations discussed in detail the current political situation in the Middle East and North Africa, reviewed the state and prospects for the resumption of direct Palestinian-Israeli talks.

Particular attention was focused on the analysis of the Ukrainian-Palestinian relations in political, consular, humanitarian, trade and economic spheres.

Both sides agreed to hold the second round of consultations in Kiev in 2013.
