On May 23, 2019 in the framework of the working visit to Seoul the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya visited the UNESCO National Commission of the Republic of Korea and had a meeting with its General Secretary Kim Kwangho.
During the meeting, the sides noted the high level of interaction between two countries within the UNESCO and focused on the bilateral projects development and exchanging experience. The sides discussed the bilateral cooperation «main aspects» and interaction within the UNESCO.
The Ukrainian side underlined the importance of «perspective of launching the UNESCO direct monitoring in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the framework of the Organization mandate and keeping the attention to the issue of Crimea on the agenda of the UNESCO Executive Board», which member is the Republic of Korea.
