On September 25, 2019, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr Vadym Prystaiko met with Mr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister for External Affairs of India.

The Sides discussed topical issues of the Ukraine-India relations, in particular, intensification of political dialogue, development of bilateral cooperation in economic and educational spheres, as well as visa liberalization.

Particular attention was paid to the activities of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-India Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial and Cultural Cooperation.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the international security issues, in particular in the area of nuclear energy.

During the meeting, the Ministers also discussed the possibility of the exchange of visits and enhancement of cooperation in the spheres of mutual interest.
