On October 1, 2019 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a meeting with Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Takashi Kurai.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects of deepening the political dialogue, including the planned visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Japan, and collaboration within international organizations.
