On November 7, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received Assistant Deputy Minister of Global Affairs Canada Peter McDougall.
A wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Canadian cooperation both at the bilateral level and within the international organizations framework was discussed during the meeting.
The parties stressed their mutual interest in further large-scale development of cooperation, which was confirmed by the visit to Canada of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky this July.
A strong support of Canada in counteracting the Russian aggression, ensuring sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, enhancing its defense capabilities as well as providing assistance for our country in fulfilling Euro-Atlantic integration tasks and implementing systemic reforms were noted.
