Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a productive call with my German friend and colleague Johann Wadephul. 

I thanked Germany for its steadfast and comprehensive support for Ukraine, including its military, financial, humanitarian, and political assistance, as well as its leadership in strengthening Europe's security. 

We focused on the rapidly changing security situation in the Black Sea. Russia is deliberately targeting civilian vessels and port infrastructure in an attempt to undermine freedom of navigation and disrupt global food security.  

We coordinated our efforts to restore freedom of navigation, strengthen maritime security, and ensure a decisive international response. 

We also discussed practical steps to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, expand defence-industrial cooperation, and accelerate joint efforts that enhance both Ukraine's resilience and Europe's security. 

We remain in close coordination on the next steps."
