Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a meaningful conversation with my colleague, Foreign Minister of the State of Israel Gideon Sa'ar.
Ukraine, together with Israel and the entire world, mourns the victims of the Holocaust. Yesterday, we joined the commemoration at the highest level. At the Babyn Yar Memorial in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of all Jews killed by the Nazis during the Holocaust.
Separately, I briefed my colleague on the consequences of Russia’s massive attacks and our urgent needs to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
We also discussed the development of the peace process aimed at achieving a lasting peace.
We exchanged views on key issues of our bilateral agenda and common security threats, including those posed by the Iranian regime.
Ukraine strongly condemns brutal violence and repressions of the Iranian authorities against their own people. International pressure on Tehran must be scaled up in response to so many people killed and injured.
Grateful to my colleague for a constructive dialogue and solidarity with the Ukrainian people".
