Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a good call with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.  

I briefed my colleague on the current dynamics of peace efforts and on the situation in Ukraine’s energy system following Russia’s massive attacks amid harsh winter conditions.

We discussed ways to further deepen our bilateral relations, in particular follow-up on the implementation of the outcomes of last year’s phone conversation between the Presidents of Ukraine and Egypt.

We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade and food security areas. 

We also discussed prospects of establishing a logistics hub in Egypt for Ukrainian food products.
