Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a call with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  

I expressed Ukraine's solidarity with the UAE, which has suffered a particularly large number of reckless Iranian attacks in recent days. 

We condemn these attacks, which are unprovoked and illegal acts of aggression. They also demonstrate the unacceptable threat that the Iranian regime poses to the entire region and beyond. 

We discussed efforts to maintain long-term peace and security in the Middle East. We wish countries in the region guaranteed security and proper protection of life. 

I addressed my Emirati colleague, requesting that Ukrainian citizens in the UAE receive the necessary protection and care in the current circumstances. I am grateful to His Highness for confirming that their rights will be fully protected and that they will receive proper treatment in all aspects.  

We also discussed our bilateral cooperation, exchanged invitations to visit, and coordinated possible future contacts at the highest level."
