Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha:  "Today, I was pleased to welcome Ukraine’s true friend, Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, at the MFA of Ukraine.

We discussed practical ways to strengthen Europe’s collective security, deepen defense cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, and Ukraine’s contribution to European defense already now and in the future.

Ukraine is an integral part of European security architecture and we are willing to participate in all EU defense initiatives and projects.

I informed the Commissioner about peace efforts and the battlefield situation. Ukraine is committed to advancing peace process. Pressure on Russia is a key tool to force Moscow to treat diplomacy seriously.

I urged the Commission to continue structured cooperation between EU Member States and Ukraine within the SAFE instrument and other security initiatives, ensuring mutual benefit and strengthening European security.

Ukraine remains a reliable partner, ready to share its experience, technologies, and industrial capacity to enhance the defense of Europe and ensure a lasting peace on our continent".
