Thanks to his personal leadership, Japan stood firmly with Ukraine and played a key role in mobilizing international support, including during its G7 Presidency in 2023 and the historic Hiroshima Summit with President Zelenskyy’s participation.

We exchanged views on how to promote cooperation between Ukraine and Japan in all spheres of mutual interest".
