On July 2, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a visit of more than 70 heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ukraine to the site of the large-scale destruction of civilian infrastructure in Kyiv as a result of the combined massive attack by the Russian Federation was organized.
The briefing for the diplomatic corps was held by the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Andriy Danyk with the participation of First Deputy Head of the Office of President of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis.
The foreign diplomats got acquainted with the progress of search and rescue operations at the site of the Russian missile strike, which resulted in the destruction of an apartment building.
Ukrainian high-ranking officials once again called on the foreign diplomatic corps to increase pressure on the aggressor state in order to force it to end the war and sit down at the negotiating table, as well as to significantly increase support for Ukraine, in particular by providing it with a sufficient number of air defense systems and missiles to protect the lives of Ukrainians.
