Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I met with Jean-Noël Barrot to reaffirm the strong Ukrainian-French partnership. 

We discussed recent developments and agreed that it is time for Europe to play a more active role in peace efforts. 

We focused on Ukraine’s urgent defense needs to protect our cities and critical infrastructure from Russia’s brutal attacks.  

I highlighted the importance of strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience ahead of winter. 

We also discussed the need to fully use immobilised Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine, impose EU entry bans for Russian combatants, and other restrictions against Russia.
