I thanked Mexico for its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its solidarity in the wake of Russia’s terror against our cities and communities. 

I informed my colleague about the situation on the battlefield, ongoing peace efforts, and our diplomatic work to end the war. Mexico’s voice in support of peace is important. 

We also discussed strengthening Ukraine-Mexico political dialogue and support for the return of deported Ukrainian children. We agreed to work on boosting our bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
