Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "My first meeting upon arrival at World Economic Forum in Davos was with my Swiss colleague  and OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ignazio Cassis. 

I informed about the frontline situation and Russia’s terror against our energy system, including nuclear, as well as Ukraine’s most urgent energy needs. 

I am grateful to my colleague for affirming that Switzerland will make every effort to support Ukrainian people and energy system now, during freezing wintertime. 

I also briefed my colleague on peace efforts, most recent Ukrainian-American talks, the next steps, and the need to increase pressure on the aggressor. 

Grateful for Switzerland’s contribution to peace efforts, as well as its role in advancing accountability and justice for Ukraine. We agreed to coordinate future steps at bilateral and multilateral levels. 

We discussed our full bilateral agenda. Switzerland is among leaders in humanitarian support for Ukraine. I thanked the Swiss side for joining and actively participating in the Civil Protection Shelter Coalition, as well as the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. 

We agreed to maintain close cooperation during the Swiss OSCE Chairpersonship this year to advance peace for Ukraine and the rest of Europe. I am looking forward to hosting Ignazio and his team in Kyiv next month."
