Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "On the margins of the G7 Summit in France, I met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. 

We discussed Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, the battlefield situation, and diplomatic efforts to achieve a comprehensive peace. I underscored that meaningful progress increased pressure on the aggressor and a clear commitment to international law. 

We also reviewed our bilateral agenda, including food security cooperation and Ukrainian grain exports to Egypt.  

I welcomed the de-escalation around the Strait of Hormuz, which is important for global economic stability, energy markets, and freedom of navigation. 

I invited Minister Abdelatty to visit Kyiv. We agreed to maintain close contact and continue working to advance practical cooperation between our countries".
