Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a productive first in-person meeting with Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, just days after his appointment and our first phone conversation. This early engagement speaks to the exceptional level of trust and strategic importance of the Ukraine–UK partnership. 

The United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine's closest and most reliable allies. We discussed concrete steps to strengthen Ukraine's air defense, increase sanctions pressure on Russia, and coordinate efforts to prepare Ukraine's energy system and civilian infrastructure for the coming winter. 

A key focus was expanding our defense industrial cooperation and increasing our capacity to produce more weapons in Ukraine. Joint defense production is an investment in Ukraine's resilience today and in the long-term security of Europe. 

We also discussed the implementation of the landmark 100 Year Partnership Agreement, the first agreement of its kind for Ukraine. It provides a long-term framework for deepening cooperation across security, defense, economy, science, technology, and people-to-people ties. 

I thanked the United Kingdom for its unwavering leadership and support. We will continue working side by side to strengthen Ukraine, increase the cost of Russia's aggression, and build a stronger and more secure Europe together."
