On May 27, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine Anica Djamić.
Andrii Sybiha expressed his gratitude to Croatia for its comprehensive support in the fight against Russian aggression since the first days of the full-scale invasion, including assistance in the sphere of defense and assistance in the demining of the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
The First Deputy Minister thanked Croatia for realization of the program of medical treatment and rehabilitation of our soldiers. He especially emphasized the activities of the Croatian organization “Dobro Dobrim”.
The interlocutors discussed further efforts in enhancement of sanctions against the aggressor state Russia and transfer of the arrested Russian assets to Ukraine.
The sides positively noted the dynamics of dialogue between the two states at high and the highest political levels and emphasized importance of further cooperation between Ukraine and Croatia, both bilateral and multilateral.
The First Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to Croatia for active participation in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In this context, the sides discussed in detail the preparation for the Global Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland. It was also noted that the Summit will form the basis for further diplomatic efforts of the international community directed at putting an end to the Russian aggression and reestablishing just peace in Europe.
