On May 27, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev.

The sides exchanged views on the priority areas of cooperation between the two countries for the near future. In this context, Yevhen Perebyinis emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's participation in the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, in particular the participation of the Azerbaijani side in the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, as well as in the International conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Berlin.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, in which Azerbaijan chairs this year.

For his part, Ambassador Seymur Mardaliyev assured of Azerbaijan's unchanging support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and emphasized the readiness to further strengthen practical assistance to Ukraine, in particular, in the restoration of the social and energy infrastructure of our country.
