On April 29, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Kurmanov.

Andrii Sybiha informed about the preparations for the First Inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland.

The parties emphasized the importance of intensifying political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with a focus on preparing further measures in these areas.

First Deputy Minister also expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the humanitarian assistance provided to the Ukrainian people and the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children affected by the war in the summer of 2023.
