Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "I had a good meeting with my Moldovan colleague and friend, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi. 

First of all, I thanked Mihai for joining the 2026 Annual Ambassadors Conference as our guest of honour and for his thoughtful address, which sent a strong message of friendship, solidarity, and confidence in our shared European future. 

During our meeting, we discussed regional security, Ukraine's diplomatic efforts to advance a comprehensive and lasting peace, and coordinated further steps on our shared path toward EU membership. 

We also focused on expanding cooperation in infrastructure, energy, connectivity, and good-neighbourly relations. Deepening our mutually beneficial partnership brings tangible benefits to both our countries and strengthens the resilience of our region. 

We agreed to maintain close political coordination and continue preparations for the next round of bilateral consultations."
