Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha: "In Santiago, I had a brief meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.

We compared notes on the recent international developments, including the escalation in the Middle East.

I briefed my Brazilian colleague on the situation in Ukraine and our efforts to advance diplomatic work to put an end to the war. I underscored that Brazil can play an important role in facilitating peace efforts.

We also discussed our ways to develop our bilateral relations and Ukraine’s interest in strengthening ties with countries in Latin America.

I invited my Brazilian colleague to visit Ukraine".
