On 21 April 2020 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin met with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong.

Ambassador of China informed about the decision of the Government of China to provide Ukraine with the second batch of humanitarian assistance to fight with the novel coronavirus.

Yevhenii Yenin expressed deep gratitude to the Chinese side for the decision to assist our country, highly praised the efficacy of the Chinese Government’s steps aimed at overcoming the pandemic of novel coronavirus COVID-19 as well as the interest of Ukrainian Side in obtaining the unique experience of the Chinese doctors.

Both sides discussed the perspectives of the political dialogue as well as the promising directions of the cooperation in different spheres.
