On 24 July, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko held a meeting with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Ma Shengkun.
The parties discussed current issues of Ukraine-China relations in key areas, as well as pressing matters requiring immediate response.
Olexandr Mischenko informed about the increased Russian attacks on civilian vessels and food shipments in the Black Sea, which poses a threat to freedom of navigation and global food security.
In this context, the Ukrainian diplomat called on the Chinese side to make more active efforts to achieve a sustainable and just peace in Ukraine, in particular, ensuring the smooth operation of logistics chains.
