Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held talks with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the high segment of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. 

The Ministers discussed the development of political dialogue between the two countries, ways to increase trade volumes and the schedule of bilateral contacts. 

Dmytro Kuleba and Sameh Shoukry agreed to hold the next session of the Joint Ukrainian-Egyptian Commission on economic, scientific and technical cooperation in the nearest future. 

The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Egypt took place for the first time since 2018.
