On November 14, 2023, Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, had an online meeting with Mario Bucaro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala.

During the meeting, the Roadmap for the Development of Ukrainian-Guatemalan Relations for 2023-2027 was signed. The document outlines the key areas of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in countering Russian aggression, implementing the Peace Formula, and establishing a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

Minister Kuleba expressed his gratitude to his Guatemalan counterpart for consistently supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the UN and other international organizations. He also called for continued active participation of Guatemala in the implementation of Ukrainian initiatives, such as the Peace Formula proposed by the President of Ukraine, the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, and the Grain from Ukraine program.

The parties also discussed the ways of further expanding trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Guatemala.
