On September 12, at the request of the Israeli Side, the Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa, Maksym Subkh, held a phone call with the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Eden Bar Tal.

Speaking on behalf of the MFA of Israel, Eden Bar Tal expressed solidarity with Ukraine and conveyed condolences over the Russian air strike on the village of Yarova, which claimed the lives of 25 people, recalling the relevant statement issued by the Israeli MFA.

In response, Maksym Subkh extended his condolences regarding the terrorist attack in Jerusalem, which resulted in civilian casualties, as was officially stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine’s statement dated September 8, 2025 on X platform.

The parties discussed a wide range of bilateral cooperation issues, including preparations for this year’s Hasidic pilgrimage to Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year. They also addressed further implementation of initiatives agreed upon during the recent visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Sa’ar to Ukraine.
