On September 14, Special Representative of Ukraine for the Middle East and Africa Maksym Subkh had a phone conversation with Bestine Kazadi, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in charge of International Cooperation and Francophonie.

The Special Representative highly appreciated the position of the DRC in support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the context of countering war of aggression of the Russian Federation.

Maksym Subkh informed about Ukraine's efforts to intensify contacts with African countries, as well as measures taken by our state to ensure food security on the African continent, in particular DRC.

Maksym Subkh drew special attention of the Congolese diplomat to the efforts made by our country to consolidate the support of international community for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy`s Peace Formula.

The Ukrainian diplomat invited the Congolese side to join the existing formats of activities on the implementation of the Peace Formula, including participation in the second Peace Summit.  

The interlocutors praised the upward trend in Ukrainian-Congolese relations.

As part of measures aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, they agreed to intensify diverse interaction in areas of mutual interest.
