On September 16, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa held an online meeting with Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organizations of the UAE.

Mariana Betsa highly appreciated the level of cooperation between the two countries and expressed gratitude to the UAE for supporting Ukraine on the humanitarian track amidst the ongoing aggressive war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. 

The parties paid special attention to discussing issues of developing cooperation within international organizations, in particular, in the context of preparations for the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly.

Mariana Betsa and Sultan Al Shamsi agreed to further strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the UAE.
